I tried to emulate it as much as I could but the server software is fairly different. There is a dhcp server at my work but the old server had dhcp service on. Now, the MBP does see the netboot set in startup disk and when pushing N on boot. the MBP and server are on the same subnet. I made my netboot set off a MBP from 2011 and that is the MBP I am attempting to netboot with. I have dhcp turned on, netinstall, and open directory. So, I know my way a little bit.įor netbooting, I am not sure what services I need. I have server installed and everything appears to be fully updated.įirst off, I am flying solo on this and never received mac server training, so take that into consideration.Ĭurrently, I have Software updates working, and can do remote management. I need to set up netboot on a 10.9.1 server.
